Welcome to 91.7 WCUR The Curve! WCUR was originally known as “WCSC,” before changing its name in 1974. After years of hindered efforts to become an FM station, West Chester University applied again in 1992. In March of 1998, our dreams came true as we were granted a construction permit for a tower on top of the Sykes Student Union. Before we knew it, WCUR began broadcasting on September 1, 1999. Today, WCUR DJs are able to create and construct their own individual shows offering a wide variety of music, news, and sports to its listeners. There are even opportunities for DJs to broadcast live sports events at WCU, including football and basketball.
Tune in on 91.7 FM or right here on wcur.org!
