Delaware County’s own Delcobras dropped their latest EP, New Skins, this past Friday (9/19/25). The release features three tracks: “Someday Soon,” “Caffeine,” and “West Philly Bedroom.”
New Skins marks a clear step forward for the band. Building on the strengths of their earlier singles, these new tracks showcase a tighter, more confident sound. Their self-described “Power Pop” energy lands somewhere between pop punk grit and hook-heavy charm—and it’s infectious.
One of the most compelling things about Delcobras is their loyalty to their roots. While some bands pivot toward broader markets, Delcobras continues to wear Delco pride on their sleeves. For anyone who grew up in the area, songs like “West Philly Bedroom” and “The Turnaround” capture the distinct vibe of the region with uncanny precision.
“Caffeine” is a standout, with layered vocals, a killer bass line, and tongue-in-cheek lyrics that hit the sweet spot between humor and relatability. It’s the kind of track that makes you want to hit repeat—and maybe hit a Wawa at midnight.
Delcobras is Jim Lorino, Marc Schuster, and Nick Cervini—three musicians who are doing more than making noise; they’re building something real.
